Self-Cleaning cares for the internal waterlines and chamber. Bottle and accessory sterilization is a separate TÜV-certified 9-minute Steam Sterilization program, which reaches up to 100°C and kills 99.9% of germs.
The Momcozy DeepClean Baby Bottle Washer (D8) includes an industry-first, one-touch high-temperature Self-Cleaning mode.
The 30-minute high-temperature Self-Cleaning program washes, rinses, and dries the internal water path and chamber to help break down limescale and milk residue.
Self-Cleaning reduces hands-on internal maintenance, but it does not replace rinsing the removable spray arms, racks, central water column, and filter.
Select Self-Cleaning and press Start/Pause to automate internal waterline and chamber care; add room-temperature water and use a Momcozy descaling tablet in the empty chamber as recommended.

What you need:
Run Self-Cleaning as maintenance is needed rather than on a fixed weekly schedule.
Remove the water tank, discard old water, and rinse the tank with clean water.
Fill the tank with room-temperature softened, purified, or distilled water, keeping the level between MIN and MAX.
Using softened, purified, or distilled water helps reduce mineral buildup and water spots.
With the washing chamber empty, place one Momcozy descaling tablet on the bottom of the chamber.
Use the recommended descaling tablet for Self-Cleaning. Food-grade white vinegar or citric acid is reserved for wiping the water-tank inlet with a cotton swab, not for use as the Self-Cleaning solution.
Reinstall the filled water tank securely.
Connect the drain hose securely, keep it horizontal, and place its outlet in a sink or suitable container no higher than the machine midpoint.
Press and hold Power, then press the dedicated Cleaning button to select Self-Cleaning.
Confirm that the Self-Cleaning indicator is selected before starting.
Press Start/Pause once, then let the 30-minute high-temperature program finish without opening the lid.

When to run Self-Cleaning:
Use it as maintenance is needed. Water spots may reflect hard water; incomplete cleaning may also reflect blocked spray movement, clogged nozzles, or a dirty filter; unusual sounds may mean an item is contacting a spray arm.

Unplug the D8 and let it cool completely. Wipe the exterior, lid, water tank, and tank lid with a soft damp cloth; never immerse or rinse the main unit. For manual deep cleaning, lift out the upper spray arm, upper rack, central water column, lower rack, and lower spray arm, then remove and rinse the filter and removable components with clean water. Reinstall them in reverse order. At least once a month, wipe the water-tank inlet with a cotton swab dipped in food-grade white vinegar or citric-acid solution and let it dry completely before reinstalling the tank.
