I wish they had a set like this available when my daughter was a baby and for this price its a great value for the money! The sound quality is tremendous, as if your baby is holding a microphone in their hand! You dont get sketchy reverb or sound centering, like hearing the blow of a heating/cooling vent blasting across the speaker. The intercom availability is really useful both in soothing from a distance and if mom or dad is trying to quietly ask their partner for help with baby. Its easy to set up out of the box and can give you the peace of mind you require, certainly as a new parent! There are plenty of features with this set and they are easy to understand and use. The camera picture quality is terrific, its quite superior! I also think its important to realize that a set like this can be useful beyond having an infant. If you are a caregiver to a disabled partner or perhaps a family member who also has trouble with their day to day; this would prove very helpful! Knowing you could be at your tasks around the house or maybe working at home and in your own way, you can always be there for them. The fact that you can change the camera direction remotely is a game changer!
