What smart notificationss does the BM03 Black provide?

When enabled, the BM03 Black can notify you of crying, coughing, movement, and activity outside a preset safe zone. notificationss appear directly on the parent unit.

Are the cry and cough notificationss medical monitoring features?

No. These features are designed to provide helpful sound-based notifications and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition. Detection results may vary depending on distance, placement, and background noise.

What does Face Focus do?

Face Focus automatically brings a detected face closer on the screen, making it easier to check on your baby without manually zooming every time.

Does the BM03 Black support two-way talk?

Yes. You can speak to your baby through the parent unit. ENC noise reduction helps reduce surrounding noise during two-way talk for clearer communication.

Does the BM03 Black require Wi-Fi or an app?

No. The BM03 Black uses a direct FHSS connection between the camera and the parent unit. No Wi-Fi, app, cloud account, or subscription is required.

Can I view the camera on my phone when I’m away from home?

No. The BM03 Black is designed for private local viewing on the included parent unit and does not support phone or cloud viewing.

Can I connect additional cameras?

Yes. One parent unit supports up to four cameras and split-screen monitoring. Additional cameras are sold separately.

How far does the signal reach?

The connection can reach up to 1,640 ft in an open area. Walls, floors, appliances, and other wireless devices may reduce the actual range. Signal Optimization lets you switch to a clearer channel when reception is weak.

Does the camera need to stay plugged in?

Yes. The camera does not have a built-in battery and must remain connected to power. The parent unit has a rechargeable battery and can be carried around the home.

How long does the parent unit battery last?

Under test conditions, the parent unit provides up to 72 hours of standby time. Actual battery life may vary depending on screen brightness, volume, alert frequency, and usage mode. The 72-hour rating refers to standby time, not continuous screen-on use.

Can I turn off the screen while keeping audio monitoring on?

Yes. With Power Saving Mode turned off, you can switch off the display while audio monitoring continues. VOX mode can also wake the screen automatically when sound is detected. Please note that audio monitoring stops when Power Saving Mode is enabled.

Does the package include a storage card?

No. A storage card is sold separately. The BM03 Black supports compatible storage cards up to 512 GB. A storage card is required for motion-triggered video clips, photos, and local playback, but not for live monitoring.

What is included in the box?

The package includes one 5.5-inch parent unit, one camera, two power adapters, two 2 m cables, and one user manual. A storage card and camera stand are not included.

Surprisingly Great!
When we had our son almost two years ago, I did not want to invest in a dedicated baby cam. Instead I repurposed a UniFi G4 Instant camera as a baby cam. It does have motion and cry detection and has the benefit of 24/7 recording to an NVR. The detections send a push notification to your phone and while is has a preview image in the notification, you need to unlock your phone and and let the feed load. It takes a few seconds to get to the live feed.
Now that I have this baby monitor, I totally get it. Itis so much easier to just have the live feed always up and right in front of you. The range is fantastic and can easily connect even when I am on the opposite end of our house. Moreover, the camera and monitor surprised me with how good the quality of the feed was. The resolution is crystal clear as is the night vision. The sound is clear and can get fairly loud. It also has a little light meter that measures the loudness volume of sound that the mic is picking up. Love the pan, tilt features. It makes placement much easier. Speaking of placement, the camera accepts a standard 1/4 thread mount.
The menu on the monitor is intuitive to use and the GUI is nice and looks modern and the battery lasts a long time, easily more than a day.
I will add that I tried a new Motorola camera set, but the video quality and features were not even close. They were also much more clunky to use. Overall, I highly recommend this set MomCozy camera..

Awesome camera thats packed with features but still really simple to use!
This thing is great! I have a Nanit, but I wanted something quicker that would just allow me to have a screen up (without using my phone) to monitor the baby for naps. This does the trick without worrying about my wifi connection. Sometimes with the Smart monitors, the wifi is down, or the connection is weak, and it takes forever just to get the picture up and running.
The quality is awesome. Its super clear and has a night bright big screen. Its simple to use, just plug and play. The battery life on the unit itself is great and the ability to pan gives you a lot of flexibility on how you want to use this thing. We have also moved it into the living room so we can keep an eye on anywhere the baby goes if were cooking in the kitchen and need to contain the little guy.
I dont have any cons. It has all the features that youd want, but the real attractive part is the simplicity of the entire thing.

Well Made Unit, good Functionality
Our children are in their teens now, so we dont need a baby monitor but I did test out this unit as I thought it might be good to set up with some of the optional cameras. These things have come a log way from the old sound only "intercom" monitors that we had. The picture comes through crystal clear to the little hand held unit and it also has audio, as well. Batteries last a long time and this is also pretty easy to just set up and get up and running. I would reocmmend it.

This monitor has become part of my daily routine. I did not want something tied to WiFi, so having a closed system makes a difference. It connects quickly and stays connected, and I am not dealing with lag, app issues, or random drops in the middle of the night.
The screen size is larger than most I had used, and that alone changes how useful it is. You can glance over and actually see whatis going on instead of picking up the monitor and focusing on it. The 1080P picture is clear enough to catch small movements like breathing shifts or repositioning, not just a general outline.
The range has been consistent. I can move through different rooms without worrying about losing signal, and it doesnot start cutting out the second thereis a wall or distance involved. That reliability matters more at night when you are depending on it without thinking about it.
The motion detection is tuned well. It picks up when thereis real movement without sending constant alerts for every little thing. The safe zone feature becomes more useful once your baby starts rolling or moving around. Being able to set a boundary and get notified if they cross it adds another layer of awareness without having to watch the screen nonstop.
Battery life stands out. I am not plugging it in throughout the day or keeping track of the percentage. It holds a charge long enough that it feels dependable instead of something you have to manage constantly.

Reliable wireless connection with the receiver
I had been using the Momcozy BM03 baby monitor to keep an eye on my dog rather than a baby, and itis turned into a pretty practical setup. She likes to camp out under the dining table and watch out the window like sheis on neighborhood patrol, so this lets me check in on her without getting up every few minutes.
The screen is large enough that I donot have to squint, and the picture is clear enough to tell what sheis up to. I can see if sheis stretched out sleeping or about to launch into a barking session because a leaf moved wrong. The night vision works well too. I can still make out her clearly when the lights are off, which is about when she decides to do her most important staring.
I like that it doesnot use WiFi. I did not feel like dealing with apps or connection issues, and this just works when I turn it on. The signal reaches all over the house without dropping, even when I step outside for a bit.
I keep the monitor plugged in most of the time, so I donot really think about battery life. Itis nice knowing it has a big battery, but in my case it just stays on the charger and does its job. One less thing to manage.
The motion detection is useful. I had caught her getting up and repositioning or reacting to something outside, which helps me understand what sheis doing during the day. The two way audio is there, though talking to her through it mostly earns me a confused look.
