Leak?

Here’s how to troubleshoot Momcozy’s leak problems:

(1) Leaking from silicone:

If the leak is coming from the edge of the silicone, your silicone might not be snapped in all the way. It’s also possible that your silicone is faulty or warped. **PLEASE NOTE** heat sterilizing or placing Momcozy washable parts in the dishwasher or microwave oven are not recommended.

Replacement shields here:

https://momcozy.com/collections/electric-breast-pump/products/24mm-27mm-wearable-breast-pump-shield-flange

(2) Leaking from motor or collection cup:

If the leak is coming from between the motor and collection cup, it’s possible that the collection cup and/or motor aren’t fully secured. Another possibility is that the collection cup is cracked and the pressure from the suction is overflowing through the crack.

The solution, keep the correct posture, and then stick it with tape

(3) Leaking from the milk pour hole:

If the leak is coming from the pour hole, make sure the silicone shield notch and the collection cup notch are aligned when snapping the pieces together. If the holes aren’t aligned, leaking is likely through the hole(s).

(4) Leaking from flange hole:

If the leak is coming from the flange hole, it could be caused by leaning back too far. It’s also possible that your duckbill needs to be replaced if the slit is opened and allowing milk to travel back up, and into the flange during strong movements.

No suction?

If you are experiencing low suction, first check the valves and membranes: Separate the membranes from the valves. Inspect the valves and membranes for damage, including cracks, chips, holes, or tears, and make sure the pieces fit snugly and lie flat. If a part is damaged, discontinue use and purchase a replacement.

Motor not working?

Is the charging normal?

Can the duckbill valve close normally?

Please press the motor tightly in the palm of your hand and keep it for 10 seconds, if you feel the suction, maybe there are have some problem with the silicone accessories, please change the accessories

Hot?

What is the suction level and duration of your use? Electric equipment will be hot, but the degree is different. The higher the level, the more power it consumes.

Pain?

About this problem, The first step is to check whether the flange size is appropriate. If the flange is too large or too small, it will cause pain.

And then please try to adjust the models and suction levels. and before milking, warm the breast with a hot towel, massage to stimulate the areola, so that the breast is completely unblocked

FAQs About The Bras

How do I know what bra size I am?

Your body’s shape and size can change rapidly during pregnancy and nursing. Each Momcozy product features a size chart to help you get the right fit, and our How to Size Guide Page is also a great resource. For bras, we highly recommend measuring your underbust and bust before ordering. If you need additional fit assistance, send us a message at support@momcozy.com.

How do I know if the bra fits me well?

There are several things to look for in determining a good fit:

-The bottom band should sit straight across the back. If the band rides up, check that the straps are a proper length. If the straps are fine, tighten the band or try a smaller band size.

-The bottom band should be snug, but comfortable. You should be able to run two fingers underneath the band. If you can fit more than two fingers, tighten the band or try a smaller band size.

-There should be no puckering in the cups. If there is extra fabric around the cups, try a cup size smaller.

-The breasts should not spill out of the cups or the sides. If the cups cut into the breasts, bulge at the top of the cups or spill at the sides, try a larger cup size.

-The shoulder straps should sit comfortably at the shoulder. Straps should be slipping off, nor digging into the shoulder.

How do I wash and care for my bras?

To ensure your bras last for as long as possible, follow these steps when washing them:

1. To prevent twisting and tangling, close all hooks and clasps before washing

2. Wash with like colors – for example, beiges with whites and darks with blacks – to keep the colors true

3. We recommend handwashing in cold water. However, if you are using the washing machine, place your bras in a lingerie bag. To reduce fading and shrinkage, choose the delicate cycle and cold water

4. Avoid bleach as it causes fabrics to lose their stretch. If you really must use bleach, choose non-chlorine bleach.

5. To dry, hang it with the cups reshaped and the back hooked up. Avoid the dryer if possible, as dryer heat may damage the stretch

6. Please don’t iron your bra! The heat damages the elastic and changes the fit

FAQs About The Wearable Breast Pump

What is the difference between wearable pumps? S9/S10/S12

These are their differences:

The suction value and suction level of the S9 and S10 pumps are the same, but the exterior design is different, they have 5 suction levels. S10 is less noisy.

The difference between the S12 and the other two pumps is that it has a digital display, you can see the current pumping time, level and battery power, and other information. And it has 9 levels, allowing mothers to find a more suitable suction level.

The S12 is the latest model

How often to replace accessories?

Some breast pump accessories do need replacing regularly to maintain performance. If you notice that your pump seems to have lost suction, the first thing you should do is take a look at your parts, particularly the valves, and inspect for wear, fraying, or stretching and replace if needed.

1. Valve membranes need to be replaced every 2 weeks to 2 months;

2.Duck valves need to be replaced every 1 to 3 months;

3.Backflow protector diaphragms need to be replaced every 3 to 6 months

4.Replace breast shields every 6 months

You can find them here: https://momcozy.com/collections/accessories

The parts are only applicable to Momcozy wearable breast pumps, and other breast pumps may not be compatible.
