Getting the November warm and cosy is great, but we British breastfeeding mums can’t stay indoors forever! Especially if you and your family love the great outdoors. Whichever type of mum you are, though, there’s no way you can completely avoid the Great British Sunday Walk.
Luckily, more and more UK celebrity mums are openly sharing their breastfeeding tips, thoughts, and advice through various media and social channels. And more importantly, by discussing their thoughts publicly, they are also helping to break down the last remnants of stigma attached to public breastfeeding.
The British weather is known to the world for being unpredictable. But in wintertime, the forecast becomes less of a guessing game—we know it’s going to get wet and wild!
For many of us, though, the colder months are the perfect excuse to get cosy in our homes. And for those of us who are breastfeeding or pumping breastmilk, being cosy is music to our ears. There’s nothing quite like snuggling up with our babies and bonding over this most intimate act.
While both Bonfire Night and Festival of Lights are a lovely way for families to celebrate, the noise and flashing lights don’t delight everyone. And if you have newborns at home, it’s an undeniable ‘baptism of fire’ into British traditions or new customs.
