This turned out to be my favorite nursing pillow of all time. I tried so many.The guard on the back the was so helpful immediately postpartum. I had numb hands from carpal tunnel until my daughter was about 2 mo old and I couldn't tell if I was holding closely enough or squeezing the daylights out of her. The guard gave me somewhere to rest my arm without over extending my wrists to hold onto baby. And for the first few months I placed a rolled up burp cloth behind my arm as a gauge to keep my arm and baby in the right spot. Without a bunch of guessing, checking, and readjusting.It took me a while to figure out what to do with the fabric pouch on the back of the guard, but I eventual found a good use for it. The fabric pouch on the back of the guard was the perfect place for small clothes I used to mop up post feedings. And the fabric was surprisingly resistant to spit up soaking in, which was great. At the same time, the cover was easy to remove and wash when it was needed.The attachmentstrap left something to be desired, however. Taking the velcro off after feeding would wake baby up if she fell asleep after feeding (i.e. in the middle of the night), which wasn't great. The other issue I experienced with the strap was over time the cover on the front pillow section would shift making it angle downward over time. It would be better after washing the cover and putting it back on the pillow, but the longer I used it the worse it got. Might have had to do with my belly or how…

This is a wonderful pillow. Its luxuriously velvety soft. The safety wall is a must have and the Velcro holds nicely. Be careful that the strap with the buckle doesnt slide up and press on babys head but as long as you make sure its slid down low then its okay. This is the best nursing pillow out there in my opinion. I would love to see them come out with one that uses memory foam inside instead of plain foam. My baby loves this pillow. He is almost too comfortable on it and often falls asleep before he has finished eating. I would recommend this pillow to every nursing mother.

When I registered for this, I honestly wasn't sure if I'd really use it much, and wondered if it'd be a waste. I had my first baby in February, so we're now 5 months in and I have used it since we brought her home. This pillow has made my life so much easier. The foam is firm so we're able to get positioned properly with ease, and my little dumpling frequently falls asleep on it after nursing. The little ridge on the back is great and without it I'm sure I would've been much messier in the beginning, especially on the longer nights. I do usually roll up a one of the baby's little blankets and put it behind her to help her stay on her side instead of rolling to her back and craning her neck to the side to nurse. I clip it around myself during every use but I've never used the arm thing. I tried it once in the beginning and it's not for me. It's great and I got it on a deal, along with my registry discount so it was around $40. Overall it's come in clutch since starting my nursing journey. I injured my shoulder when the baby was about 3.5mos and would've had a heck of a time nursing without this pillow. I've even considered getting a second one to keep in the car.

We love this pillow, sadly in our area, diaper changing stations are not always available at public bathrooms and this helps us do a diaper change in the car.
