    First time collecting colostrum, would recommend these!

    Started collecting at the start of Week 37 and these are great! If there's colostrum trapped in the small tip, I close it off and tap the bottom of it on a hard surface to get the drop to go into the collection tube before proceeding.Some tips to help with collecting:- Do it when you're warm and relaxed.* Right after a hot shower is ideal or use a warm compress.- Massage first.* Massage the whole breast from the chest toward the nipple for 1?C2 minutes.- Use the "C-hold."* Place your thumb above and fingers below the areola (the darker skin around the nipple), about an inch behind the nipple.* Don't squeeze the nipple itself.- Press, compress, release.* Press BACK toward your chest.* Gently compress your fingers together.* Release.I like to make sure the tip is clear so I can squeeze the collection tube and then release as I'm collecting the colostrum bead so it gets suctioned up easily. I also keep a wet reusable makeup round to clean off any colostrum that didn't make it into collection.I freeze it upright and labeled.Good luck!

    Love it !

    I just bought it a couple of days ago, I am not sure if it helps with producing milk right away as I just purchased it but it does provide comfort. Not only does it massage you , it also heats your breasts too , which is nice when you come back from being outside in the cold . Plus my breasts don??t feel so sore afterwards either.
